It started with insults flying back and forth on Facebook. It ended with three people shot. From My Fox Philly: Philadelphia police Lt. John Walker described the exchange as, "A bunch of girls talking about the girls from one section of the city, just telling them they don't have any money and they're poor and they're never going to have any money. So, apparently it was going on for some time." And then the war of words turned into the real thing, "At which point they just decided let's get this over with and have a fight," Walker said. They met on the corner of 66th Street and Elmwood Avenue, in front of Bartram High School, where some of them attend school. About five carloads of men and women, ages 17 to 22, got out. "The females began fighting amongst themselves. We believe there's approximately 40 people out there – a bunch of people fighting, punching, kicking, using bats to hit each other," Walker said. Then, it got way out of hand. "An unknown male pulls out a gun and fires into the air," Walker said. "At that point, two other males pull out guns and begin firing into the crowd." Bullets hit a 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old man in the back, while a 17-year-old female was also hit. This is CRAZY, but unfortunately might become common practice. Social Networking sites are becoming the forum where feuds grow exponentially and then continue OFFLINE. On December 23rd,2009 a teenager was stabbed to death in London after a Facebook feud got way out of hand.
